None of the starters played, unless you count David Johnson and Jason Verrett getting a few snaps, and not many of the guys who played made lasting impressions.
2014 7th round pick WR Tevin Reese had an awful game, the side effect of having a case of "the dropsies". He may have lost his chance at making the final 53-man roster.
OLBs Thomas Keiser and Cordarro Law each played well, which only makes their battle over one of the last LB spots on the roster that much more interesting
Marion Grice took an early commanding lead over Branden Oliver for the fourth RB spot, but a solid second half by "BO" evened things out a bit.
WR Dontrelle Inman secured a spot on the roster with some impressive play on offense and special teams, but he may not have been able to save QB Brad Sorensen (who has had a rough preseason).
K Nick Novak and P Mike Scifres continued to look great and ready for the regular season, including a 55-yard FG by Novak in the first half.
In the battle for the backup swing OT spot, Willie Smith probably outperformed Mike Harris, but had to leave the game for a period with an injury.
All in all, the team got plenty of film to help them make their final roster cuts and nobody seemed to get seriously injured. That's the real reason for calling this exhibition a "win" for the San Diego Chargers players and coaching staff.
