Week 3 of the preseason is widely considered to be the "dress rehearsal" for the regular season. As such, you'll notice Chargers starters played considerably more than they did in weeks 1 and 2.

The top guys in snaps this week are the two backup tackles, Smith & Harris, that are competing for what is likely one spot on the final 53-man roster. Brelan Chancellor also received an unexpectedly (at least for me) large amount of playing time.
The defense bounced back with a much stronger effort than they showed against Seattle. The player that saw the most time on the field was Kavell Conner. He can be expected to continue to see a lot of playing time as Manti Te'o continues to provide is unique combination of ineffective and unavailable.

Interestiingly, Ryan Carrethers saw reduced playing time despite injuries to Kwame Geathers and Ricky Tjong-A-Tjoe. Encouragingly, we got to see a nice bit of playing time from a healthy Freeney, Verrett, Flowers and Liuget all of whom exited the game still healthy.
We got an extended look at the guys vying for the ast open spots in the secondary. It will be interesting to see who is still on the team come tomorrow.
