Open Thread: 2014 NFL Draft, Rounds 2 and 3

Here's why I didn't write a post today:

Trying my best to come up with a negative stance on the Verrett pick. Have one thing and it’s very nitpicky.

Verrett fits Pagano’s scheme so well that he’d almost be a hindrance in a different scheme. No Rex Ryan in 2015, folks.

But, I mean, the team is trying to win now without mortgaging the future. This pick does that. I’d just hate to see him in man coverage.

So, anything I would've written basically would've been repetitive after Richard and Jerome's articles went up. It's a solid pick. The best pick they could've made.

Now it's time to make money and get guys in the 2nd and 3rd round that have fallen for one stupid reason or another. I think most Chargers fans are rooting for the team to land Xavier Su'a-Filo or Kyle Van Noy, and I am right there with them.
