Pro Football Focus's analysis team has released its Top 101 of 2013 and this year there are three San Diego Chargers on the list. Unlike the top 100 list from NFL.com, PFF's list has clearly stated criteria and everyone involved actually watched the games this past year.

PFF's criteria are stated at the top of each post, but the short version is this: all positions are considered equal (no extra weight to being a QB) and this is only about what the players did on the field in 2013 (doesn't matter what they did in prior years).

Compared to last year's edition, the Chargers have added two players, but one has fallen quite a long ways from where he was ranked before. Without further ado, the Chargers players to make this year's list are:

96) Eric Weddle, Safety

63) Keenan Allen, Wide Receiver

43) Philip Rivers, Quarterback

After the 2012 season, Weddle was ranked 15th, Allen had yet to play a professional snap, and Rivers was coming off arguably his worst season as a professional. Obviously, some things changed this year. Weddle was asked to play out of position and to cover for deficiencies elsewhere frequently throughout this past season and it affected his performance. Allen had one of the greatest rookie seasons for a wide receiver ever. And Rivers bounced back with one of the best season-long performances of his stellar career.

What do you think about the list? Who's rated too high? Too low?
