New TE Coach Pete Metzelaars on Gates, More - Ricky Henne
It seemed like it was a long, long process but it was probably just a couple weeks.  Things fell in place as the season (ended).  Whiz started leaving and different people (so) positions started opening up. I had been out of coaching last year.  I didn’t have a job so I was chasing hard and called my buddy Frank (Reich).  I knew he got the promotion to offensive coordinator and so he was pushing for me.  Over a couple weeks of a lot of phone calls and a lot of prayers, things have worked out.

Signature Stats: Yards Per Route Run - Khaled Elsayed
A turn now to rookies and it will surprise absolutely no one to see Keenan Allen leading the way. That was ahead of guys like Dez Bryant, Jordy Nelson and T.Y. Hilton.

Chargers won't leave Qualcomm - Eric Williams
The Chargers did not execute their annual option to opt out of their Qualcomm Stadium lease, meaning they will play in the venerable stadium for the 2014 season, the team announced this week.

Sharks - Randall Munroe (non-football)
Prisoners, of course! Can't let 'em escape!
