NFL Combine 2014: Schedule, TV Coverage, Invite List, Workouts, More

The NFL Combine began on Wednesday as players started arriving in Indianapolis. On-field workouts begin Saturday. Here is everything you need to know to prepare for the Combine.

USA TODAY Sports

The 2013 NFL season is in the books. But that doesn't mean it's too early to get excited about the 2014 NFL Season. It's kind of funny, really, to think about how hungry we are for football that watching guys work out is an event worth watching. And I'm okay with that.

Workout Schedule

Workouts don't begin until Saturday, February 22nd. NFL Network will televise the on-field Combine workouts beginning Saturday, live coverage will start each day at 6:00am PST. If you can't wait for the workouts, Combine coverage actually begins on Thursday at 11:00am PST.

Workouts are as follows:

  • Saturday, February 22: Placekickers, special teams, offensive linemen, tight ends
  • Sunday, February 23: Quarterbacks, wide receivers, running backs
  • Monday, February 24: Defensive linemen, linebackers
  • Tuesday, February 25: Defensive backs

Telesco to Speak to Media

Most the teams will have Coaches and/or General Managers available to speak to the media at scheduled times from Thursday through Saturday. Chargers General Manager Tom Telesco will speak with the media on Thursday at 9:30am PST. A full schedule of Club Personnel Media Availability is available from the NFL.
