Would you like to write about the San Diego Chargers?

Hey there. I'm John, and in my spare time I do my best to run this here San Diego Chargers blog/community to the best of my abilities. It's a lot of work, but it's also a lot of fun. The most important part of my job is finding great writers and adding them to the Bolts from the Blue staff.

About a year ago, I put out a call for anyone that would like to write for us, expected less than 5 responses. Instead, I got more than 50, and almost all of them were well qualified. I did my best to narrow down to just the best ones, and as a result of the added staff, we had the best year we've ever had.

In an effort to keep BFTB as the best place on the internet for intelligent Chargers conversation, some of the staff will be relieved and some of them are leaving due to schedule conflicts, and we'll be searching for great writers to replace them.

Here are a few things to think about before applying:

• This is a non-paying gig.
• You will be required to write at least 1 post per week related to the San Diego Chargers in some way. The topic you write about is completely up to you.
• All of your posts will have to be approved by one of our editors before it goes live on the site.
• You will not be allowed to post anything Chargers-related elsewhere on the internet. If you write for another Chargers blog currently, that will have to come to an end.
