Week 17 Injury Report: Chargers vs Chiefs

Taking a look at Week 17's injury report for the San Diego Chargers as they get set to take on their AFC West rival, the Kansas City Chiefs.

Jake Roth-USA TODAY Sports

With a playoff spot on the line, the Chargers will be heading into Arrowhead Stadium this Sunday without Ryan Mathews and Mike Scifres, as both have officially been ruled out for this contest. Mathews is suffering from an ankle injury, while Scifres still has issues with his shoulder, as neither have been able to practice all week.

Keenan Allen comes into this game with a doubtful designation, as his ankle and collar-bone have kept him out of practice as well.

The Chargers 2014 3rd pick Chris Watt is questionable for this game, as the Chargers offensive line continues to be plagued by injuries.

For the Chiefs, Alex Smith has a lacerated spleen and has been ruled out of this matchup, as Chase Daniels will be assuming the starting quarterback duties, while Dwayne Bowe and Tamba Hali have both missed some practice time this week, and Jamaal Charles has had limited participation with an ankle and hamstring issue.
