BFTB OC Meetup: Chargers and Breakfast Food

This Sunday, the Chargers will be in Baltimore taking on the Ravens in a game that will have enormous playoff implications. Join us in Lake Forest (not Irvine) for food and camaraderie as we watch the game.

Apparently, there are a lot of readers in Orange & Los Angeles Counties, so we're splitting the distance as best we can for this year's meetup. The entirety of our plan is "this is when and where we're meeting, and the game is on."

This is where we'll be

Slater's 50/50
24356 Swartz Dr
Lake Forest, CA 92630

(In the Big 5 Shopping Center off El Toro Road)

This is when we'll be there

10:00 am on Sunday, November 30, 2014. Yes, this Sunday.

This is why we'll be there

The San Diego Chargers are taking on the Baltimore Ravens in a game that they simply must win and most likely won't. This necessitates booze. Also, the Chargers won a game they shouldn't have last year (at Arrowhead) when we watched at this location, so we're hoping there's still some good hoodoo.

We wanted a road game, so we wouldn't lose people that had tickets to the game and this was the best weekend left on the calendar by our estimation.

Slater's is open for breakfast, and they make a delicious Bacon Mary.

Slater's is Chargers-friendly.

Slater's is the most central location we could all agree on.

This is why you should come

We do a lousy job of planning these things (Slater's doesn't know we'll be there, for instance). But last year's was a great time and you should definitely make the trip.
