Who is the unsung hero of the San Diego Chargers?

This week, NFL Hall of Famer Marshall Faulk wants to know who is the unsung hero of the San Diego Chargers, and we have just the guy.

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

One year ago, most people were unsure if Malcom Floyd was ever going to play in the NFL again. Sure, he had fought back from injury before, but he had never been taken off the field with a major neck injury before.

I regularly said, during the offseason, that Chargers fans should not count on Malcom Floyd this season. Don't count on him being back, don't count on him being a starter, and don't count on him being productive. We had no idea what to expect from him.

Tomorrow, he will start his 11th consecutive game, and he's arguably been the best and most consistent member of a deep and talented group of WRs for Philip Rivers to throw to.

Not only is Malcom Floyd a fell-good story this year, he's also been the unsung hero of the San Diego Chargers passing offense.
