Fantasy Football sit/starts: Raiders at Chargers

Do you have any San Diego Chargers or Oakland Raiders on your fantasy football team? Here's the ones you should be thinking about sitting or starting this week.

Harry How

Start Nick Novak

Obviously, start "Nails" Novak every single week, but expect a good one from him this week. Only three teams in the NFL give up more points to kickers than the Oakland Raiders.

Sit Malcom Floyd

Until the offensive line proves it can protect Philip Rivers for more than two seconds, Floyd will not be good enough to be a fantasy option.

Start Antonio Gates

Like several great San Diego Chargers players in the past, Gates always seems to play a little better against the Raiders. Add in a bye week for him to get back to 100% and this has to be a scary matchup for Oakland.

Maybe start Darren McFadden

If you have him on your team for some reason, D-Mac always seems to play well against the Chargers. Don't be surprised if he finds his way into the end zone on Sunday.

Start Ryan Mathews

Ryan Mathews is hungry, healthy, and going up against a defense that gives up less fantasy points to RB than only the Falcons and Giants. Mike McCoy is eager to play ball-control offense and keep Philip Rivers out of bad situations. Expect a big day for Mathews.

Editor's Note: FanDuel is hosting a $500,000 one-week fantasy football league this weekend. It's $10 to join and first place wins $40,000. League starts Sunday 1 PM ET and ends on Monday night. Here's the link.
