For most NFL hopefuls, the last straw might've been 2008. After no regular-season kicks the year prior, he signed with Kansas City in the offseason. The Chiefs had Connor Barth and Billy Cundiff also on the roster, and in case that weren't enough competition, the team had an additional kicker visit the facility and compete with them on a try-out basis. This happened twice a week.

Chargers left tackle King Dunlap was fined $8,268 for unnecessary roughness. Dunlap retaliated after getting hit by Jacksonville's Andre Branch after the play was over. The Jaguars' defensive end was called for a personal foul on the play and also fined $8,268.

Bolts Offense Takes on Boxing Match Mentality- Ricky Henne
"We always say, every game is like a boxing match," he explained. "So you go in and have plans to attack in certain ways, but when you find a weakness in certain areas you expose that.  In a couple of these games we’ve gone out and been really good in the passing games, so we’ve been somewhat of a pass-first team. But still, the boxing analogy would be you can’t underestimate the importance of those continual jabs to the midsection. So we’re going to keep throwing those jabs."
