"I’m just trying to be a playmaker," he said.  "That’s all you can do as a football player.  Go out, play hard and try to be a playmaker.  We have a great secondary with (Eric) Weddle, (Brandon) Flowers and everyone else.  They were 5-3 for a reason.  People back here are doing great and doing their jobs.  I just want to help out any way I can."

Brandon Flowers (concussion) and Jason Verrett (shoulder) didn't practice on Wednesday, while backup Steve Williams (groin) practiced for the first time since leaving Game 7 against the Chiefs.
