Is it just me or has one of the San Diego Chargers top 3 CBs been out in every game since Week 1? I thought this might be the first game where John Pagano had Shareece Wright, Jason Verrett, and Brandon Flowers..... but now. Flowers is playing against his old team and Verrett is missing the game with a shoulder injury.
No shock on Mathews, Mathews, and Te'o. The team will give Donald Brown extra time to recover from his concussion with Branden Oliver playing so well. Ronnie Brown will once again be the backup.
Jerry Attaochu, who the Chargers desperately need to get healthy and on the field to help the pass rush and give Dwight Freeney some help, will once again watch from the sidelines.
I've noticed a significantly better run-defense for San Diego when Verrett and Flowers are out there together. Now, in addition to trying to work with Richard Marshall or Steve Williams in the slot, the LBs will need to step up to help the run defense. Good thing Reggie Walker is healthy?
