Wednesday Injury Report: Chargers vs Chiefs

Good news Chargers fans, it looks like some of the players that have been dealing with nagging injuries are starting to get healthy, however, many Chargers were limited in practice today, along with Jerry Attaochu joining the list of DNP's once again.

Brandon Flowers was also held out of practice today, after suffering groin injury against the Raiders, while Jason Verrett was limited with a shoulder issue.

Donald Brown is still dealing with a concussion he suffered in Week 5, and was also held out of today's practice. With Branden Oliver making his first career start this past Sunday, the undrafted rookie out of Buffalo could be in-line to start once again, while Ryan Mathews is hoping to return soon from a sprained MCL he suffered in week two.

As the Chargers begin a tough stretch of games before their week 10 bye, having their players return to health will be key, as these next few games have the potential to shake-up the divisional standings.

For the Chiefs, it looks like Eric Berry could be returning to action this week, after missing multiple weeks with a high-ankle sprain. He should be entering Sunday's game as questionable, but we'll have to wait until Friday to see his game status, along with the rest of the players for both teams entering this Week 7 matchup.
