Audibles at the Line: Week 6 - Andrew Potter
Cian Fahey: I'm such a big fan of Jason Verrett. I don't care about his height at all. He's 5-foot-9 and it was a much discussed aspect of his game during the draft process. A divisive aspect. Some said he'd be top 10 if he was an inch or two taller, others said he was too small to be effective in the NFL.

Clutch Encounters: Week 6 - Scott Kacsmar
This was turning into one of the season's biggest shockers, but Philip Rivers and the Chargers have broken the hearts of Oakland fans many times before. While the Oakland offense was much improved, the defense still struggled. Much like Green Bay in Miami, the Chargers used two drives to take care of the touchdown deficit. Oakland's defense stiffened in the red zone and Nick Novak kicked a 30-yard field goal with 5:52 left to cut the score to 28-24.

Week 6 Quick Reads - Vincent Verhei
Oliver might have worn down the Raiders defense. He had two 10-yard runs and four first downs, all in the last 21 minutes of the game. His one receiving first down, a 20-yard gain on second-and-9, also came in the fourth quarter.

The Chargers After 6 Games - Michael Norton
We didn’t exactly play poorly in the Raider game, but the defense has looked better and a few decisions– let’s just say– "didn’t work out as planned." Our offense saved the day and we won in comeback fashion. And perhaps more than any game thus far, the Raider game gives us the confidence to win any game we are in.

Chargers to wear powder blue Sunday - Michael Gehlken
"This is a team coming in from Kansas City that has one of, if not the, loudest crowd week in and week out," coach Mike McCoy said. "We need to have our loudest fan support, as many Chargers fans in those seats as possible."
