"I'm Learning from the Best" - Tenny Palepoi
People ask about my welcome to the NFL moment, and I’d have to say it was my first practice coming in with the vets after I made the team.  Realizing the tempo and going against the ones, and the jump it was from preseason to regular season, it was very noticeable.    It means a lot to me that the coaches trust me to contribute.  Their trust in me has grown, and I’ve got to keep doing what I’m doing and try to contribute wherever I can whether it is special teams or also in practice.

Call it "Professional Hatred" or Raiders Week - Ricky Henne
"We hate the Raiders, and the Raiders hate us," Donald Butler said in a recent live chat.  "Like coach says it's a professional hatred. We're really excited for our first divisional game. It's our first chance to be on top of the division. Our plan every year is to win our division first…. (We’re pumped) up the whole week. It's Raiders week! You always get up more against not only a division opponent but a division rival."

Chargers protecting L.A. interests - Eric Williams
"Allowing another team to move into those markets would be economically harmful to the Chargers, to say the least," Fabiani said. "Especially if it's a team that has voluntarily vacated that market in the past, such as the Rams or the Raiders -- that would be particularly objectionable to the Chargers."

Chargers receivers best Rivers has had? - Kevin Acee (UT$)
"What’s different about this team, in particular, is sometimes there might have been too (few) balls in the past," Gates said. "Chris Chambers comes in from where he’s the guy, I’m still here, Vincent is still here. You still had guys in the backfield. So at times it was difficult to figure out who was going to get what, how to put people in different positons."
