San Diego Chargers Injury Report

NAME POSITION INJURY WED. THU. FRI. GAME STATUS
Jeromey Clary G-T Shoulder LP - - -
D.J. Fluker T Ankle DNP - - -
Nick Hardwick C Neck/Concussion DNP - - -
Sean Lissemore DE-DT Shoulder LP - - -
Ryan Mathews RB Ankle DNP - - -
Eddie Royal WR-KR Toe DNP - - -
Eric Weddle FS Hamstring LP - - -

The biggest concern right now by far is the status of Chargers RB Ryan Mathews. As you can see in the list above, he did not practice today. This isn't a huge cause for concern (yet) as Mathews hasn't practiced on Wednesday since Week 16 when he was a limited participant on Wednesday. Since then he has not practiced on Wednesday or Thursday, and has been a limited participant on Friday in each of the last 3 weeks.

Worth mentioning though is the offensive line. Nick Hardwick didn't practice, and we finally have learned that he did suffer a concussion and is following the league's concussion protocol. Also not practicing: D.J. Fluker, who was seen in a walking boot following the Bengals game, and was wearing a boot again today on his right foot. And even Jeromey Clary is banged-up with a shoulder injury. Yikes.

Eric Weddle with the hamstring injury does seem to be a slight cause of concern, but he still practiced today and seemed to be moving around the field just fine on Sunday.

Denver Broncos Injury Report

We don't have an official injury report from the Broncos, but according to the Denver Post, Defensive End Derek Wolfe was the only player on the 53-man roster not practicing today. Safety Rahim Moore is currently on IR-Designated to Return, but is eligible to practice now, did not practice today either.

Everyone else practiced in full today, in full pads.
