Scouting Report: Chargers vs. Texans - Ricky Henne
The Texans have a dynamic, balanced offense that is led by quarterback Matt Schaub, who threw for 4,008 yards and 22 touchdowns in 2012.  His main weapon is wide receiver Andre Johnson (112 catches, 1,598 yards and four touchdowns) as well as tight end Owen Daniels (62 catches, 716 yards and six touchdowns) and their first-round draft choice out of Clemson, rookie DeAndre Hopkins.  Perhaps most notable is running back Arian Foster, who has emerged over the past few seasons as one of the top all-around running backs in the NFL.

How I Got My Name - Foswhitt Whittaker
I get asked all the time about my name so I thought I’d talk about it.  My real name is Foswhitt.  My dad’s name is Foster, and he wanted a junior.  My mother didn’t so they compromised and took the Fos from Foster and fused it with my last name, the Whitt from Whittaker.  So they fused it and made it Foswhitt.  So that’s how you pronounce my name and where it came from.

Jahleel Addae of Central Michigan makes San Diego Chargers' 53-man roster - Cory Butzin
Addae started for the Chippewas for three seasons and earned All-MAC honors each year. He finished with 302 career tackles, including 15 for a loss, three and a half sacks, eight interceptions and 21 passes defended.

2013 San Diego Chargers Season Preview - Steve Shoup
The Chargers offensive line is going to be a major work in progress this season. They lost their top offensive lineman from last year in Louis Vasquez who went to the Broncos. They did bring in some guys like King Dunlap, Chad Reinhardt and 1st round pick D.J. Fluker, but they are going to miss the veteran presence of Vasquez. If this line doesn't improve the Chargers offense will likely crumble again so the pressure is on for this group to succeed
