Here's your open thread for tonight's contest between AFC West division rivals, the Oakland Raiders and Denver Broncos.
This game has plenty of implications for our San Diego Chargers. Denver stands between the Chargers and the playoffs. Oakland stands between the Chargers and the #1 overall pick in the draft. So, no matter which direction you see the team going, you logically should be rooting for the Raiders.
That sounds kinda awful, though. Rooting for the Broncos isn't much better. And I guess rooting for people to get hurt is neither sporting nor moral.
Maybe the game will at least be exciting. Granted, that's rather unlikely since the Broncos are so much better than the Raiders, but this is the hand we've been dealt.
Perhaps discussing the game with your fellow fans will make the game more enjoyable. Yeah, let's go with that. We'll find a way to enjoy the game together. Yay, football!
