Earlier today, the San Diego Chargers filled their eighth and final open spot on the practice squad with defensive end Brandon Moore.
Moore was my surprise player to make the final 53-man roster, and he did before being released yesterday. Brandon looked excellent in the preseason and could easily be a backup DE for the 2014 Chargers, although the team and its fans are hoping that they won't see him on the active roster this season.
Here is the entire San Diego Chargers practice squad as of right now:
- Thomas Keiser, OLB
- Nick Becton, OT
- Marcus Cromartie, CB
- Brandon Moore, DE
- Jake Byrne, TE
- Toney Clemons, WR
- Will Pericak, DE
- Kenny Wiggins, OT
I don't expect any more movement with the team's 53 man roster, which we'll post an updated version of tomorrow morning, , or the practice squad before their Week 1 game against the Houston Texans one week from today.
