Bits and pieces of news are coming out on San Diego Chargers WR Malcom Floyd this morning, who injured his neck in yesterday's game when this happened...
This morning, we heard from Adam Schefter...
Chargers WR Malcolm Floyd, carted off field Sunday and put in neck brace, is unlikely to play Sunday vs. Titans.

Schefter's usually gets breaking news on the Chargers, so it wouldn't surprise me if this came straight from the team, but it also looks like it could be a simple guess.
Ian Rappaport, however, is not guessing....
#Chargers WR Malcom Floyd, who was carted off, getting a 2nd opinion. But out indefinitely, source says. In a neck brace for at least a week

Gronk's guy. RT @MikeGarafolo: Malcom Floyd's second opinion @RapSheet referenced will be with noted spine specialist Robert Watkins.

It's probably not good when you've had enough spine issues to have a doctor being known as your spine specialist.
Some may take this news to mean that Floyd's trying to get cleared before Sunday's game. I'll take it more as a sign of spine injuries being serious business, and it's probably a good idea to see the best "spine guy" in the country if you have the means to do so and an injury in that area.
Let's just go ahead and rule Malcom Floyd out for Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans and hope that he's back to 100% some time in a near future.
