Officials hurt Chargers in opening loss - Bill Williamson
"The officials are going to make judgment calls and we have to live with them," McCoy said. "We can’t worry about that. It’s all a part of the game. There are certain judgment calls they want to make and we can’t worry about it now. We just have to adjust. I might act a certain way on the sideline, but that’s all part of the game and you move on."
Mailbag: Moving Forward - Ricky Henne
Watching him out there reminded me of what Chris Berman said when I spoke to him last month, when he said Butler is probably the best player no one knows about. Those that matter in the NFL certainly know about him, and if he has more 13 tackle games while sacking the quarterback, he will be a household name in no time. He certainly deserves to be.
Healthy Eddie Royal makes impact - Michael Gehlken (paywall)
Monday was encouraging, but the Chargers were happy with that they saw from Royal on Wednesday, too. He was on the field, healthy, a full participant for another day in practice.
Rivers continues to lack fourth-itude - Kevin Acee (paywall)
After three seasons (2008-10) in which he was the NFL's highest-rated quarterback, he has over the past two seasons (plus one game of a third) been by some measures arguably one of its worst.
