More preseason football! Isn't the preseason over yet?
The big pregame news is that Danny Woodhead, who the team won't comment on, will miss his second consecutive preseason game after participating in practice all week. Is he a secret weapon that Mike McCoy and Ken Whisenhunt don't want to show off before the regular season? That's my bet.
The most interesting thing to watch in this game, for fans of the San Diego Chargers, will likely be the group of WRs without Malcom Floyd and Danario Alexander. In an offense that requires rhythm and trust like this one, taking away Philip Rivers' top two WRs seems like it could derail the season before it even gets started.
The game is on ESPN, so feel free to complain liberally about Chris Berman's play-by-play (although he's probably better at football than he is baseball)..
