Remember two weeks ago when Richard wrote this post about the Third Annual Kaiser Permanente "Bolt to the Q" 5K and the Chargers' PLAY 60 Fun Run for Kids? Did you use the special BFTB discount code (BOLTSFROMTHEBLUE13) to get $5 off registration (which is currently $55)? I hope you did, because they're running out of open spots and registration ends tomorrow.
(EDITOR'S NOTE: And if you'd just like to donate, you can click here.)
In addition to giving BFTBers a discount code, we actually have a free registration to give away to one lucky member. Here's all you have to do to be entered to win.
- Create a BFTB account, if you don't already have one.
- Comment below, telling me why you should be the one to win and assuring me that you are available to make it to the event (which means getting to Qualcomm Stadium around 7am this upcoming Sunday).
I'll be picking the winner by myself this evening, but others can show their support for certain individuals by "rec"ing comments throughout the day.
I'll be running the Chargers 5k and have the last two years as well. Thankfully, the course has been changed and there are no longer any extreme hills to deal with. This year, I'll be joined by Richard Wade, John Crean and any BFTBers that wish to find us in the pre-race crowd. None of us have done any training whatsoever, so you might want to bring your cameras to capture our deaths.
Here's all of your race info:
