INTERVIEW: San Diego Chargers Rookie WR Keenan Allen

The San Diego Chargers selected Cal WR Keenan Allen with the 76th overall selection in April's NFL Draft. Watch as he sits down with SB Nation's Dan Rubenstein at the NFLPA Rookie Premiere to discuss his transition to the NFL, his thoughts on San Diego, and more.

Since being selected by the San Diego Chargers, Keenan Allen has been one of three very exciting rookies in San Diego. Fans are hoping that Allen's knee is 100% and that he could work his way onto the field, and into the rotation of wide receivers, in training camp.

Despite already causing a stir by posting a picture of himself wearing an Oakland Raiders hat on the social media site Vine, Allen has thousands of supporters that are excited at the prospect of the rookie Wide Receiver becoming "the next Anquan Boldin."

He'll have to fight his way through a crowded depth chat that includes Malcom Floyd, Danario Alexander, Robert Meachem, Vincent Brown, RIchard Goodman, Eddie Royal and more, but the team seems to like what they've seen from the kid from Cal so far. Keenan says, in the video above, that coaches are going to use him as the "Z" or "slot" receiver this season.
