Last week, the players and coaches from the San Diego Chargers fanned out all over San Diego and surprised and delighted fans across the county. That got us thinking: surely you have a story you'd like to share about your encounters with the San Diego Chargers (and no, I didn't just call you Shirley [unless your name is Shirley, then I did call you that]).
Sadly, I don't have any fun encounters to share outside of autograph signings or "Meet the Player" type events. My wife used to work at a bank in Poway and Eric Weddle's uncle would come in fairly often to do his banking. She says he always came in wearing some sort of Chargers-related gear. Cool story, right?
I know the vast majority of you have better stories than I do. We want to hear them. We want you all to get in some sort of "I have the best story here" competition. It can be a player, or a coach, or a cheerleader or even Sapnos. It doesn't matter, we want to hear it. It doesn't even have to be a current member of the team.
So tell us your stories in the comments below ...
@BFTB_Chargers "Moosey" Doug Wilkerson stopped by my table at Anthony's in La Mesa as a kid. I thought it was the coolest thing ever!
