Pinch yourself. Pinch everyone. Let's hope this is a nightmare.
As I said on Total Access: Doctors fear #Chargers 2012 first rounder Melvin Ingram has suffered a torn ACL. Brutal.

Unreal RT @utgehlken Melvin Ingram will receive couple more opinions on knee injury suffered today. Told torn ACL is feared a "possibility."

Melvin Ingram feared to have torn ACL. Is left tackle still the Chargers' biggest need? What about getting after other team's quarterback?

There was no hitting going on today. I don't even think the guys were wearing pads. What a freak incident.
I've been saying all offseason that I was worried about the San Diego Chargers pass rush in 2013, because they were putting all of the responsibility on Melvin Ingram (who hadn't exactly proved himself dominant in his rookie season). I compared Ingram to Larry English. I didn't know, or hope, that something like this would happen.
I would imagine that, if the ACL is torn, there's no chance of Ingram returning to play this season.
Ummm, who is still available? Dwight Freeney? That could work, right? Maybe? Or I guess we could just root for Jadeveon Clowney AND Melvin Ingram in 2014.
