A collection of tweets from the first day of OTAs for the 2013 San Diego Chargers:
Observations: Marcus Gilchrist, now at strong safety, is playing his natural position ... Darrell Stuckey is a special teamer.
— UTKevinAcee (@UTKevinAcee) May 13, 2013
Hear that Norv/AJ? You were playing Gilchrist at the wrong position! John Pagano totally knows how to fix things now that you're gone.
Observations II: You're going to feel differently about right guard Jeromey Clary than you did about right tackle Jeromey Clary.
— UTKevinAcee (@UTKevinAcee) May 13, 2013
I hope right guard Jeromey Clary never shaves his head. I never forgave right tackle Jeromey Clary for those nightmares.
Observations III: New OL coach Joe D'Alessandris is loud. New HC Mike McCoy isn't. Demeanor reminiscent of head coach they used to have here

Acee wasn't the only one heaping the praise on Mike McCoy. I collected all of the comparisons in a single, handy tweet.
After 1 practice, Mike McCoy is defintiely a mix of Schottenheimer, Coryell, Phil's BBQ, Natrone Means and the San Diego Chicken.

OH WAIT.
RT @beestmode: Not sure that's a relevant observation; is Belichick loud? >Exactly my point. But lotsa ppl thought it was important w/ Norv.
— UTKevinAcee (@UTKevinAcee) May 13, 2013
He meant NORV? He meant that Mike McCoy was a lot like NORV? Norv....TURNER?!?
*Spits out bad taste in mouth*
RT @jrz220: How did the UDFAs look?Any stand out? (I realize its day 1) #BoltFam #Chargers >My son, @utgehlken, sure likes Jahleel Addae.
— UTKevinAcee (@UTKevinAcee) May 13, 2013
HE CALLED GEHLKEN HIS SON.
I forgive Acee for anything and everything he's ever done, said or written. And all the stuff he'll do, say or write in the future. That was fantastic.
RT @cameronmascari: Predictions on starting o-line from L to R? My guess is Dunlap, Rinehart, Hardwick, Clary, Fluker >As of now, that's it.
— UTKevinAcee (@UTKevinAcee) May 13, 2013
I'm...surprisingly very okay with this.
#Chargers GM Tom Telesco is in team shorts and a t-shirt, talking to media casually and watching OTAs. My, times have changed.

DING-DONG, the witch is dead! Which old witch? The wicked witch!
As expected, Manti Te'o and DJ Fluker both working with the ones. #chargers
— Annie Heilbrunn (@annieheilbrunn) May 13, 2013
Starters! Annie also pointed out that Marcus Gilchrist was working as the Strong Safety with the first team. Lots of new starters.
Interesting that Rivers made note of fewer deep passes thrown at practice today. More quick and short. It's early, but ... #chargers

Someone that knows Philip Rivers once told me "He'd hate a West Coast Offense. He loves the deep passes too much." Yeah, well, his 70% completion rate in college might say otherwise. I'd be excited to see that guy again.
Rivers says he has same connection w/Whisenhunt & Reich that he did w/Norv Turner "We speak the same language when we talk about football"

"Norv who?"
