NFL Schedule to be Released on Thursday, April 18th

Everyone can get excited now, the NFL has announced when it's going to hold April's most–anticipated event in the NFL. That's right, we now know when the 2013 schedule is going to be announced!

The 2013 NFL Schedule will be announced on Thursday, April 18th at 5:00PM PDT.

Okay, the schedule is in fact kind of a big deal to a lot of people. The NFL is smart. They know it's been 2 months since the Super Bowl, Free Agency has all but wound down, and the Draft is still 10 days away. They know fans and the media alike are pining for any nugget of NFL news, so they can hype up when the schedule will be released and we'll all actually pay attention; brilliant.

The NFL is also rather sensitive. Like having a kid with a birthday on December 30th, they're aware of the fact that the Draft will overshadow anything that comes along after it. So what'd they do? They gave the schedule release it's own week. The NFL cares.

All kidding aside, the NFL year is kind of like a roller coaster with all its mountains and valleys of excitement. We had the excitement of free agency, then the lull for the last few weeks since then. Now the excitement of the schedule and the draft, then a lull until workouts begin. So let's take what we can get and get excited about it!
