Long played predominantly at guard for the Ducks, but he does have the skillset to also kick outside to man one of the tackle positions. Both his father and brother say he is the most athletic member of the family, which he uses to his advantage in the trenches. He has quick reflexes and is fast on his feet in pass protection, where he uses his brute strength to jolt opposing defenders.
