The big name signings keep on coming!
That's a joke.
The first new Charger of the day is Chad Rinehart, an Offensive Guard who has been mostly a practice squad player since signing on with the Buffalo Bills in 2010. The report comes from Michael Gehlken:
Ex-Bills guard Chad Rinehart has agreed to one-year deal with Chargers. Arrived in SD last night. Expected to sign today, pending physical.

Rinehart was originally drafted by the Redskins in the third round of the 2009 NFL Draft. He was cut by both the Redskins and Jets in 2010.
Chad started two games last year for the Bills, both at Right Guard, and actually played well. This signing is obviously fueled by Joe D'Alessandris, who has been Rinehart's Offensive Line Coach in Buffalo and is now the Offensive Line Coach in San Diego. If the coach likes him that much to recommend him, then I have to assume that he knows something the rest of the league doesn't about Rinehart.
While the San Diego Chargers will probably lose both of their starting Guards from 2012, they already have a decent stable of young players that can fill those roles in Johnnie Troutman, Chad Rinehart, David Molk and Colin Baxter.
