San Diego Chargers Approval Rating: Offseason Moves

New, comments

The San Diego Chargers have been quite busy this offseason, how do you like the moves they've made?

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

I know what you're thinking, didn't we already do this poll? Well, not exactly.

The last approval poll we did was the Dean Spanos approval rating where we just just had you rate the hiring of Tom Telesco and Mike McCoy. In that poll, you all overwhelmingly approved of the job Dean Spanos did, with greater than 93% of you rating his performance as 7 or better. That's pretty impressive.

No, this poll is to gauge your overall feeling about the Chargers organization as a whole. Like I said, it's been a busy offseason. We could potentially break down every single move and hiring the team has made into separate polls, but that would be monotonous and we actually like you guys.

Or we could even do a recap article where we go through each new coach that was hired, and format it as a slideshow that you have to click through ... *vomits*

To do a general recap:

  • A.J. Smith and Norv Turner fired
  • Tom Telesco hired
  • Mike McCoy hired
  • John Pagano retained as Defensive Coordinator
  • Ken Whisenhunt hired as Offensive Coordinator
  • Rich Bissacia allowed to walk
And that's just a brief overview. A lot more smaller moves were made that may or may not have affected your feelings about this team. If there's something else that should be considered, do tell us in the comments. Otherwise, sound off in the poll!
