There may not be a lot of points in this game, but there was a ton of action in the first half.
The San Diego Chargers blocked two field goals, and blocked a pass in the Washington Redskins' endzone that was caught by Sean Lissemore for a defensive touchdown. Mike Scifres has punted the ball twice, with the ball being downed on the Redskins' 1-yard line each time. So, all in all, a great game by the special teams.
Both QBs have been up and down. Philip Rivers threw an interception when he and Vincent Brown read the defense differently, which lead to Washington's only points of the day on an Alfred Morris touchdown run.
The Chargers have looked good, and they're winning the Time of Possession battle despite the defensive touchdown, but the Redskins haven't necessarily looked bad..... just inconsistent. Washington gets the ball to start the second half, so there's a very real chance of this game being tied shortly.
