Bills GM Doug Whaley says he's not actively shopping FS Jairus Byrd, but admits he's open to trading him."So if the phone rings, we're going to listen," Whaley said. "But that doesn't mean we're out trying to trade." Whaley's comments are just the latest indication the sides have every intention of parting ways in the offseason. Inactive for every game so far this season, Byrd (plantar fasciitis) is tentatively expected to make his 2013 debut on Sunday.

Should the Bolts really push for a trade? GIven his productive history, the Chargers' need and his family name (which would also be good for some fan positivity), I'd say yes. Obviously, depending upon both the trade and contract demands.
This is probably more Madden move than real world but who knows?
