I often say that I do not talk about the draft until after free agency, because the team's "biggest needs" could change dramatically with a few free agent signings. That being said, the East/West Shrine Game is at 1pm today and includes many players that the San Diego Chargers are scouting to possibly select in the 2013 NFL Draft.
The team's current needs looks something like this:
- Offensive Tackle
- Cornerback
- Inside Linebacker
- Strong Safety
- Running Back
- Offensive Guard
- Wide Receiver (maybe)
- Quarterback
So, uh, I guess we don't really need to pay attention to Kickers, Punters, Offensive Centers, Defensive Linemen or Free Safeties. Everyone else, though, should be analyzed and scrutinized.
