The San Diego Chargers' aren't fishing for a Head Coach candidate to replace Norv Turner, they're casting a net and interviewing all options. The list of men that have interviewed with the team, or have interviews scheduled with the team, regarding the open Head Coach position grows by one today after Mike Klis' report that Denver Broncos' Offensive Coordinator Mike McCoy will interview with the Bolts tomorrow.
If we're keeping track, and we are, the list of men that have interviewed for the position thus far goes like this:
- Gus Bradley - Defensive Coordinator, Seattle Seahawks
- Lovie Smith - Former Head Coach, Chicago Bears
- Ken Whisenhunt - Former Head Coach, Arizona Cardinals
This list of coaches that are rumored to be of interest to the Chargers, or actually have interviews scheduled with the team, goes like this:
- Mike McCoy - Offensive Coordinator, Denver Broncos (scheduled)
- Bruce Arians - Offensive Coordinator, Indianapolis Colts
- Mike Zimmer - Defensive Coordinator, Cincinnati Bengals
- Jay Gruden - Offensive Coordinator, Cincinnati Bengals (scheduled)
