This is the best weekend in every NFL season, regardless of whether or not the San Diego Chargers are playing. There are still 4 football games, but any "weak" teams have already lost by now. Now it's down to the 8 best teams in the league.
I think too many people are focusing on the frigid weather in Denver today and not enough on Peyton Manning's track record in games after that playoff bye. It's not very good. That being said, Joe Flacco is incredibly inconsistent and will need to be on top of his game to do anything against this Broncos pass-rush.
The night game is better, if only because I love playoff games in Candlestick Park. There's some sort of magic to them, going back to the days of Joe Montana and Steve Young. I can't wait to see if Colin Kaepernick can ride that magic to a win against a Packers team that doesn't look like it'll lose again this year.
