You may not know the name Tom Telesco, but you probably should.
By the beginning of 2012, Tom was Director of Player Personnel for the Indianapolis Colts for six seasons and was starting to make a good name for himself. One year ago, Tom was considered a finalist for the open GM positions with both the Colts and the St. Louis Rams. In the end, Ryan Grigson became the Colts' GM and convinced Tom to stick around....with a promotion to Vice President of Football Operations.
Grigson and Telesco worked together for a few months and ended up with arguably the best draft of any team in 2012. That draft class, mixed with some very savvy free agent signings, has been the driving force from the Colts going from the worst team in the league last year to a playoff team this season.
Now, here's why you care about any of this:
Colts director of player personnel Tom Telesco will interview with the Chargers. That's the only one on him for now, but could get more.
