This week of college football looks.....annoying. There's no real big games. There are no two teams in the top 25 that are facing each other. Still, we'll watch and go crazy because it's football and that's what we do.

I've never been a huge college football fan. I'm not really sure why that is, but it's always been the case. It probably has something to do with not going to college myself and not living in an area where there's a major college football program.

A few years back, I became an Iowa Hawkeye fan for a few reasons. One, their coach is from the Belichick tree and has no desire to do anything but coach at Iowa forever. Two, the coaching staff remains unchanged every year. Three, their uniforms are awesome. Four, their fans are awesome. And....that's about it.

I learned about players just as quickly as they left and caught a couple of games each year, but didn't really pay attention to the rest of college football. My goal this year, once we get past these boring "preseason" weeks, is to become a college football nut and a die-hard Hawkeye fan. Wish me luck.

Here's where you can find the time/channel for just about every one of today's games.
