Free Agency Roundup: Atari Bigby - Chargers.com
The San Diego Chargers were active in free agency this offseason, adding top-end talent to an already rich roster. Here’s your chance to get to know the newest Chargers as we continue our preview through training camp with strong safety Atari Bigby.
Fully Healthy Parrish has Big Plans for 2012 - Ricky Henne
In his prime, the 5-foot-9, 175-pound receiver was one of the most explosive returners in the game. Over his career, he has totaled 135 punt returns for 1,622 yards and three touchdowns as well as 29 kickoffs for 685 yards. Thus, it’s no surprise this is where he is planning on making an immediate impact.

Ranking the AFC West: Offense - Levi Damien
The Chargers topped the rankings for the interior offensive line and tight end. At tight end they have perennial All Pro Antonio Gates backed by former starter Randy McMichael and they have one of the best centers in the business in Nick Hardwick. The only position group they landed dead last was wide receiver which is an overall strong position in this division. What puts them at the top is Philip Rivers. He was second just behind Peyton Manning and has thrown for over 4000 yards each of the past four seasons and over 4600 yards the past two. Other standouts on this team include running back Ryan Mathews, and left tackle Jared Gaither.
The Chargers' 5 key players in 2012 - Don Norcross (UT$)
Jammer is 33 years old. Methuselah for an NFL cornerback. He played poorly last season when he admits he struggled on the field and off while dealing with a divorce. And yet he still mans one of the Chargers’ starting cornerback jobs. If this team’s to make a playoff run, Jammer must turn back the clock and play like the Jammer of old.

The video below touches on what I think will be the five most important and most entertaining position battles during the San Diego Chargers' 2012 training camp and preseason.
Mathews ready to 'shut everyone up' - Michael Gehlken (UT$)
"The things he's been through has made him better. I think he'll have fewer of those rough moments, but anyone who's played in this league knows, it doesn't matter if you're in your third year or your 13th year, they're coming. It's how you respond to it."
Dombrowski likely headed to PUP - Michael Gehlken (UT$)
Brandyn Dombrowski already faced long odds to make the Chargers' roster. They're even longer now.
