My uncle's wife's brother-in-law is a big New York Jets fan. His last name is Tomlinson (not related). A few years back, when the man known as LT was still on the San Diego Chargers, this guy flew his family out to San Diego to see the Jets beat the Chargers in playoffs.

That's not the good part of the story. The good part of the story is that this guy had a custom Jets jersey made with his last name ("Tomlinson") on the back along with his favorite number (21). I don't really understand why, but the Chargers fans at Qualcomm Stadium didn't take too kindly to him wearing what appeared to be a Jets-version of a LaDainian Tomlinson jersey and heckled him throughout the game. He got his revenge years later when that jersey became a reality, making him a hipster of sorts for owning it before it was cool.

Anyway, (LaDainian) Tomlinson is a Charger once more (for one day) after signing a contract with the team yesterday. Today, he will officially announce his retirement from the game of football and then will take questions from the San Diego media that grew to love him before he departed for New Jersey. It should be fun.

The entire thing will be streamed live at Chargers.com starting at 11am PT. I'll be keeping a live-blog of the ordeal to be posted this afternoon, but you guys can have fun watching/chatting about it in the comments below.
