I know, I know. You're wondering where I've been all day. Well, I'll give you the short version of the story and say that I had a few too many beers at Padres opening day yesterday. Let's call it a sick day.

Luckily for me, nothing really happened in Chargers land today. Oh, the players got their numbers and for some reason Atari Bigby didn't get one. Probably because they haven't asked him what number he wants yet. I was wondering if maybe he had asked for #21 and they were considering it, but he's never worn that number before and I believe #20 and #27 are both available so it'll probably be one of those.

I like McClain in #33. #33 is a number that looks awesome on big, strong Fullbacks and it reminds you that he can carry the ball a little bit as well. Also, they must've changed the rules about WRs wearing numbers in the teens. Used to be all the #80s needed to be taken before a WR could pick one of those, but Robert Meachem, Michael Spurlock and Eddie Royal all took low numbers.

This game and it's rule have passed me by, I tell ya.

Padres have their first night game tonight. There's still lots of NBA and NHL stuff to watch too. Throw random comments below. Music video after the jump.
