Almost four months after the San Diego Chargers' season ended and they missed the playoffs, hope is renewed tonight as the 2012 NFL Draft gets under way with its first round.

If, like me, you're stuck at work when the draft starts you can stream the entire thing here.

The only round that will be happening and airing tonight will be the first round so, unless A.J. Smith decides to trade up or down, the only selection that the Chargers will have is the 18th overall selection. Looking around at the mock drafts, it would appear that the Bolts will use that pick to select a pass-rusher or an offensive lineman to fill the void left by Kris Dielman's retirement. This, of course, means that the Chargers will be drafting a Tight End or Cornerback at 18.

Andrew Luck will be your first overall pick, by the Indianapolis Colts. Robert Griffin III will be the second pick, giving the entire District of Columbia something to be excited about before Dan Snyder can ruin their happiness once more. After that, nobody really knows who is going where. Should make for a fun first round.
