My quick thoughts on the schedule are after the jump.
Games in Pittsburgh and New Jersey in December will not be fun. Traveling to Cleveland, then having to play the Chiefs four days later, will not be fun.
There are more games not in the Chargers' normal time slot (1pm PT) than actually in that timeslot.
There are some good points, though. Only one instance of back-to-back road games. The Falcons and Ravens in San Diego instead of on the road where they're both much tougher. Facing the Saints early, before they've figured themselves out, is a plus.
I also like where the bye is. That's about as close to a mid-season bye as you could hope for.
