Two quick stories.

One: If you're wondering why there was no post this weekend, it's because I spent about 90% of it laying flat on my back without the ability to get up. Back pain is the best.

By Sunday afternoon, I forced myself to get up and walk around the block (in agony) to make a BFTB video. It should probably be ready for posting tomorrow. I haven't watched it yet, but I imagine that in it I have a painful look on my face and come off as angrier than usual. It's sure to be a riot.

Two: The Chargers PR staff was nice enough to e-mail me earlier today to let me know that they don't start their voluntary offseason workouts until next week despite my report that they start today.

Here's how I got confused: The ten-week period for the Chargers to hold nine weeks worth of voluntary workouts start today. Teams are required to give the players a one week break sometime during that period. The Chargers, like many other teams, are seemingly just waiting and starting a week late so that they can go for nine consecutive weeks.

I probably should've checked this out better, maybe by e-mailing the team first, instead of listening to the people that I listened to. That's on me.

Sometimes I make mistakes, just be happy that they're usually in the offseason.

Coachella is over, but the Padres are still on. Talk about them or anything else in the comments below.
