Hi guys. Miss me? Sorry, I was off having a baby. Well, I wasn't the one having the baby but I was still there. All is well now and I'm slowly catching up on my sleep and getting used to this whole "new parent" thing.
At least I have an excuse for not performing my job very well. What's the San Diego Chargers' excuse? Last year it was rampant injuries, this year has got to be the year it falls on actual people, right? I think we're all in agreement that Norv Turner is gone this year, but is A.J. Smith? Has the time come to completely clean house?
After going almost 7 years of scoring at least one touchdown in each game, the Chargers offense was once again kept out of the end zone. This easily has to be one of the worst Chargers offenses in recent memory. It's becoming more and more apparent that the Robert Meachem experiment is a failed one. Denario Alexander seems to be this year's version of Chris Chambers, but it's obviously not enough to salvage the season.
Yes, this is the "approval rating" post, but to me it boils down to a "should A.J. Smith be fired?" poll. Again, it's up to you to come up with your own criteria for making your decision, but vote and comment below.
