If there's one thing I know for certain about the 2012 San Diego Chargers, it's that they need a 49 point halftime lead for me to be comfortable with the idea that they'll probably win the game.
The good news is that this week's Chargers, who are barely recognizable at this point (current starters include Mike Harris, Kevin Haslam, Danario Alexander, Demorrio Williams, Rex Hadnot, etc.), look to be as good as last week's Chargers team that almost beat the Baltimore Ravens. They also look similarly unhealthy, with only David Molk left if anyone else on the offensive line suffers an injury.
If San Diego wants to win 5 games and have a shot to make it into the playoffs, they're going to need to start playing better in the second half. They'll get another chance to hold on to a halftime lead, as they're up 13-10.
