Injury Report: Carolina Panthers at San Diego Chargers

New, comments

Who is in and who is out when the Panthers travel to San Diego to take on the Chargers?

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sport

San Diego Chargers

Out
Demorrio Williams, LB (ankle)

Doubtful
Ronnie Brown, RB (hamstring)
Donald Butler, LB (groin)
Jeromey Clary, T (knee)
Tyronne Green, G

Questionable
Eddie Royal, WR /PR (hamstring)

Probable
Mike Harris, T (ankle)
Kendall Reyes, DE (quad)

If Demorrio Williams and Donald Butler are both out, I imagine the starting LB next to Takeo Spikes will be Bront Bird or Gary Guyton. Curtis Brinkley will fill in for Ronnie Brown.

Despite being Probable, a strong showing by the offensive line last week without him probably means that Mike Harris will be the backup Offensive Tackle this week for the Chargers.

Carolina Panthers

Out
Dwan Edwards, DT (wrist)
Geoff Hangartner, C (foot)
Jonathan Stewart, RB (ankle)

Questionable
James Anderson, LB (back)
Colin Jones, S (groin)
Brandon LaFell, WR (toe)

Probable
Jeff Byers, G (back)
Thomas Davis, LB (knee)
Charles Godfrey, S (back)
Charles Johnson, DE (back)
Louis Murphy, WR (hamstring)

Missing Jonathan Stewart can only help San Diego's chances to pull out a win. It also would appear that Cam Newton's only healthy WR will be Steve Smith.
