San Diego Chargers: How Would You Save the Season?

If you were Head Coach and/or GM of the San Diego Chargers right now, how would you try and save the 2012 season?

Jake Roth-US PRESSWIRE

Sometimes, I like to hear from you guys. Today is one of those times.

Let me be clear, this is not a place for you to bitch and complain about Norv Turner and A.J. Smith. We have plenty of other places to do that, including the weekly approval poll. This is a time for you to see the world from their perspective.

In the comments below, I want you to tell me how you would go about trying to salvage the 2012 San Diego Chargers season. Time machines don't exist, so answers like "I would've signed Vincent Jackson last offseason" won't work.

Right now, the Head Coach and the General Manager walk into Chargers Park with one thing on their mind: What can I possibly do to make this a winning team this season? How can I help get us to the playoffs? If you were in their shoes, what would your answer be?

You can choose to either be Norv or AJ or both. That means you can make coaching decisions or personnel decisions. You can fire Norv if you think that'll get more wins out of this team, but you should probably support that with some logic since he's also the Offensive Coordinator. You can not fire A.J. Smith because Dean Spanos can't really do anything to save the team this season.

For a moment, let us stop worrying about the future. Let's think about the right now. WWJBD (What would John Butler do?)
